Student Employee and Research Assistant, Political Science
Hello! My name is Angelica Crispin. I’m a fourth year Political Science and Global Politics double major with a pre-law minor. I studied abroad in Argentina, learning the history of tango and its part in Argentinian culture. I was also a part of Cohort 3 of the GWSTEM honors program, through which I traveled to Udaipur, India and conducted surveys on the lives of women in rural villages. This trip helped me discover my interest in gendered research. My own research focused on the autonomy of financially dependent women. Additionally, I was a member of our competitive Mock Trial team for 3 years and the Moot Court Team for 1. These leadership opportunities helped prepare me to serve as president of the Student Government Association for the 2019-2020 school year and Vice President of Phi Alpha Delta, our pre-law fraternity. My plans for the future include attending law school, and to continue to see more of the world!
