Mount Orchestra Festival

Masterclasses for High School and Transfer students

As part of our Mount Orchestra Festival we are pleased to offer Masterclasses for high school and transfer students at no cost to both participants and attendees. It is meant as an opportunity for students to receive instruction from our Mount Saint Mary's music department faculty and to perform in preparation for auditions, other upcoming festivals, and competitions. Teachers and parents are encouraged to attend. The event will take place on our scenic Chalon Campus in Brentwood.

Beginning September 24, students may apply to participate in the master class using the online application below. Performers are expected to play from memory. Maximum repertoire length is 10 minutes. Please submit the completed application by October 15 for consideration. For questions, please email
