With works by Francesca Caccini, Emelio de’ Cavalieri, Giulio Caccini, Jacopo Peri, Cristofano Malvezzi, and Luca Marenzio.

    Capella Artemisia with the Mount Chorus & Singers

    INVINCIBLE! 17th Century Nuns Sing of Virgins & Martyrs

    Cappella Artemisia is an ensemble of female singers and instrumentalists based in Bologna, Italy. Dedicated to performing the music from Italian convents in the 16th and 17th centuries, its repertoire includes both forgotten works composed by the nuns themselves, as well as music intended for performance in the con- vents by better-known male composers.

    For events at the Chalon campus, attendees may park in the Parking Structure. We recommended parking on levels 5 and 6.

    Parking is available on Chester Place and in various parking lots for concerts held at the Doheny Mansion.

    Handicap parking spaces are available in the Circle, as well as the parking lot directly behind Mary Chapel.

    $10 general admission

    Tickets are available at the door 30 minutes before the start of each event.
