About the Team

MSMU Volleyball was established in 2014 and continues to give student athletes an opportunity to play and compete on a college level.

The club competes in the Southern California Volleyball Association (SCCVL) with other universities' women's club volleyball teams. In addition to SCCVL play, the team will compete in the NCVF National Club Volleyball Tournament each year.

When/Who Do We Play

The club season begins during the first couple of weeks each semester.  The team plays in a beach league during the Spring and a traditional, indoor league during the Fall semester.  The team also competes in tournaments as far as San Diego and Las Vegas. Practice days and times will be made each semester depending on player availability.

As part of the SCCVL, we play matches against schools such as USC, CSU Channel Islands, SDSU, and UCLA. Club tournaments in Davis, Las Vegas, San Jose, and San Diego allow us to compete against Northern California teams such as UC Berkeley and UC Davis, and out-of-state competition such as Oregon and Arizona.

How to Join

All women enrolled, as MSMU students, with a love for the game and the conviction to be dedicated, are eligible and encouraged to try out for the team.
