The Department of Campus Security contributes to the overall successful development of students through a combination of student centered active and passive programming uniquely designed to challenge, inform, and build a sense of safety both within the Mount community and abroad. Furthermore, the Department is committed to providing a safe learning environment through the utilization of campus-oriented community safety philosophies, and actively solicits and encourages cooperation and support of all members of the university community to decrease the opportunities for crime and facilitate the maximum use of its resources.

Our emergency notification system is a voluntary program which will allow those that sign up for the service to be notified of emergencies via email and/or text message to your personal cell phone and college email address. There is no cost to sign up for the service and normal text messaging rates will be applied if and when the notification system is activated.
