The Athenian Print is an online publication for young writers to communicate with their student body, to voice out their opinions on a variety of topics, and to report on the happenings of today on and off campus. The Athenian Print is also the first Journalism and New Media club at Mount Saint Mary's University. Our goal is to keep the study, the career, and the life of journalism alive. We are to here inform, entertain, and benefit the public, including our peers. Our organization thrives off of the creative and artistic realms of writing.
As part of the American Advertising Federation (AFF), the ADthenians Club competes in a national advertising competition in district 15. The purpose of AFF and ADthenians is to cultivate advances within the business of advertising, a vital and essential part of the American economy and culture.
Alpha Tau Delta is a national professional nursing fraternity whose goals are to promote leadership, participate in community service, and introduce students to various networks, scholarships, and grants; to provide mentors who support, care, and befriend; and to foster and maintain bonds of friendship throughout your entire life. We also serve as a support system in your times of need and we try to provide various activities that give you a respite from the stress of being a nursing student. Mount Saint Mary's University's Alpha Theta Chapter is part of the Alpha Tau Delta National Nursing Professional Fraternity.
The Doheny Business Club aims to develop business skills, network with business people, and gain experience for the future through professional and social activities.
Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, International is a professional law fraternity advancing integrity, compassion and courage through service to the student, the school, the profession and the community.
Kappa Delta Chi, founded in 1929, is the longest standing sorority at Mount St. Mary's College. It is a multicultural sorority that promotes sisterhood, leadership, community service, intellectual development, and cultural growth. This organization is not only a social sorority, but it is continually involved in various campus events, community service, fundraising, and sisterhood events. The sorority's purpose is to establish an environment conducive to the development of sisterhood, friendship, and unity among its members and to provide opportunities for social development.
Student Activities Council (SAC) is a student-led organization active on both the Chalon and Doheny campuses. SAC is responsible for campus-wide traditions at the Mount such as Dive-In Movie, Lighting of the Circle, Mount Community Night, Spring Carnival, and Spirit Week.
The purpose for our chapter at Mount Saint Mary’s University, Los Angeles is to increase the awareness of international medical needs throughout the campus and the local communities. Our chapter provides opportunities for students from all academic fields to participate in various service projects to help raise funds for Operation Smile’s ambition of bringing a smile to the faces of children around the world.
The Oxfam America Club at Mount Saint Mary's is dedicated to aiding in the vision and mission of Oxfam America, and to educating the Mount community about the statistics and issues surrounding hunger and poverty globally. Through Oxfam America Club, students get to be a part of something that goes far beyond campus and our local community: they get to be part of an international effort to CHANGE the world.
The Mount Saint Mary’s University Student Government Association is designed to promote and work for the needs of Mount students. Students are represented by elected/appointed student leaders who serve as the voice of the student body and work to make student-centered change on campus in collaboration with university officials.
The UNICEF club at Mount Saint. Mary's University strives to advocate and pursue to achieve a holistic quality of life for children. We will join the many other members of UNICEF in achieving the goal of decreasing mortality rate of preventable diseases from 22,000 to ZERO.
Welcome to the Veteran Outreach Association site! I invite you to join us at one of our events or meetings. First, the association is about educating veterans on their educational benefits and services provided by MSMU and/or third party resources. Second, the association encourages camaraderie and collaboration between all clubs on campus. Third, the association holds true to guiding young women and men in becoming leaders by initiating their own goals and ideas within the association.

The purpose of Phi Theta Kappa shall be to recognize and encourage scholarship among two-year college students. The Scholar Mentor Club (SMC) is synonymous with the entire pool of Chalon peer tutors. Our vision is to inspire and promote general academic competence and mastery of specific course content. To that end, we aspire to hire the best baccalaureate students and model admirable intellectual and moral behaviors.

Women in Science and Health is an organization dedicated to encouraging and facilitating Mount Saint Mary’s students as they pursue careers in the health care and scientific research fields. WISH provides a strong support network and creates open communication while developing leadership skills and dialogue among students seeking careers in the sciences. We are committed to offering educational, volunteer, summer internships, and research opportunities that facilitate and encourage the success of our members as they pursue careers in the scientific field. The African American Council of Women (AACW) purpose is to perpetuate positive and valid representation of Black images and strive towards perfection. To focus on and assist in the development and retention of black students. To commit to improving the quality of life for the students from the perspective of, but not limited to, the African American Culture. To present a social atmosphere that would prove beneficial to the ethnicity of the African American Culture, and is conducive to networking, bonding and support. To promote an active support group of unity and sisterhood. To create an environment that is educational, informative, stimulating and entertaining. To become more dynamically involved in our cultural developments.
Latinas Unidas unites students that share a passion for cultural awareness and activism of the Latino community. Latinas Unidas educates nuestra familia, outside communities, and the Mount on issues regarding education, racial and social injustice, and culture.
Le Cercle Francophone is an organization for students who are interested in French language and francophone culture. Activities include exposure to French film, music, and cuisine, and are intended to expose the breadth and diversity of the francophone world!
Na Pua O Ka 'Aina serves to raise awareness, knowledge and appreciation of the Hawaiian and/or Polynesian cultures and traditions among its members and the student body. The club acts as a support system for students from Hawaii and its members. Na Pua O Ka 'Aina will establish open communication and interaction with other campuses as well as the community through cultural activities and social events.
Pangkat Pilipino is dedicated to expanding the awareness of the Filipino culture through the involvement on campus and in the community. Our focus is to promote values of family, friendship, and unity. As leaders, we strive to display qualities of creativity, accountability, and integrity.
The mission of the Sakura Society is to expose the Mount community to the extensive and eccentric Japanese culture. Our goal as members of the Sakura Society is to bring an awareness of the rich and beautiful culture of Japan.
The Athenian Fitness Club is open to students of all ages and fitness levels. We are dedicated to having fun while exercising to stay healthy and fit. Our numerous activities include hiking, biking, yoga, and running to name a few.
The purpose of the Ballet Folklorico Club is to raise awareness of Mexican traditions and regional Folklorico dances. In addition, we seek to provide a welcoming environment where interested students can learn Folklorico dances, create a club that encourages diversity, and contribute to the availability of healthy clubs on campus.
Mount Movement’s mission is to inspire seasoned dancers to share their talents to new dancers and to motivate them to learn and appreciate other forms of dance. We provide dance instruction workshops and opportunities for performances by attending live dance performances. We teach each other and learn from each other. We try to teach many forms of dance and we have guest choreographers come out to teach us a dance and also to share their story about how they began dancing and also to show that dancing is a form of stress reliever.
The mission of The Muses is to provide opportunities for students to develop their artistic abilities, showcase their talents and gain knowledge and appreciation of the arts, including: live performance, theater, music, film, and other forms of artistic expression.
Pa’Bailar’s goal is to teach the fundamentals of social/partner dances (e.g. Salsa, Bachata, Swing) to the MSMU community. We also hope to present resources outside of Mount Saint Mary's University that will enable members to continue their dancing experiences beyond college.
