Leadership Scholar Program
Women’s Leadership and Student Engagement is pleased to offer the opportunity for first-year and sophomore students at the Chalon and Doheny campus to engage in a unique, comprehensive leadership development experience: the Leadership Scholar Program.
The Leadership Scholar Program is a selective leadership development program that recognizes the leadership potential of individual students dedicated to making positive contributions to their campus, their community, and their personal lives through involvement, service, and leadership activities. Leadership Scholars engage in various leadership activities throughout all four years of their university experience and are expected to serve as campus role models for academic success and ethical social behavior. Students who participate in the program develop close peer relationships with their cohort, as well as mentoring relationships with staff.
Due to the intensive nature of the program, each cohort consists of no more than thirty students. Leadership Scholars receive individualized leadership coaching and mentoring, selective scholarship opportunities, and priority for leadership conference registration.
Leadership Scholar Benefits Include:
- Certificate in Leadership

- Priority for leadership conferences
- Peer and professional mentoring opportunities
- Selection as an Orientation Leader
