Mount Student Wins Top Award at Mock Trial Contest

March 14, 2012 -- Mount student Amalia Flores '14 earned a Best Witness Award from the American Mock Trial Association competition held in February at the Thomas Jefferson Law School in San Diego. The political science major and pre-law minor was a part of the Mount team that competed against hundreds of students from colleges and universities across California, Arizona, Colorado and Utah.

Flores' honor is the latest in a string of successes for the College’s pre-law program, led by Helen Boutrous, chair of history and political science. For more on the Mount's pre-law minor, click here.
