The graduates of the Class of 2015 Doctor of Physical Therapy program make their way across the Mount's Doheny Campus toward Commencement in Rose Hills Auditorium.

A road traveled together: DPT Class of 2015

This fall, Mount Saint Mary's University in Los Angeles added another 28 members to its community of Mount Alums - the Doctor of Physical Therapy's Class of 2015.

The Commencement ceremony took place at the University's Doheny Campus, where the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program is based. Lindsey Heard served as the DPT Class Speaker and she noted the close-knit bond that develops between all in the program - from students to faculty. "When you started this program, you knew you had a long road ahead of you," Heard said. "However, this road was not to be walked alone."

"It is a privilege to practice physical therapy and with this privilege comes a great responsibility," Debbie Lowe, director and chair of the DPT program, told this year's graduates. "You now have the skills necessary to make significant contributions to your patients' lives and to effect positive change in the health and wellness of your community."
