Biography
Don has written 30+ hours of television and produced for Batwoman, Smallville, Beauty and the Beast, The Secret Circle, Hit The Floor, and Stitchers. He sold an original pilot script & series to 20th Century Fox Studios with the creators of 24 attached to produce. The series didn't go (such is the writing life) but he still got to work with Howard Gordon, Joel Surnow, and Robert Cochran -- all fantastic teachers. Don has developed series with Disney+, Lionsgate Television, D.C. Comics, McG's Wonderland Sound & Vision, and other independent producers. He's adapted YA books and comics. He was selected for the WGA's Showrunners Training Program, a class where current showrunners come and share their wisdom and experiences. Don did all of this with his amazing wife Holly, the greatest partner in work and life ever. He also created online content for Sony Pictures Digital, Columbia TriStar Interactive, and Sony Online Entertainment, including Jeopardy! Online and Wheel of Fortune Online. Don loves teaching. He feels lucky to be at MSMU, where he's constantly amazed by the stories his students tell.
