Biography
Biography
I have over 25 years of professional experience in accounting and management. Also, I hold a master’s degree from the University of Southern California in addition to a CPA license. Not only do I teach at Mount St. Mary’s but I also teach at East Los Angeles College and the University of LaVerne. At ULV, I teach both graduate and undergraduate courses. Teaching is my second career and it has given me rewards beyond my expectations at both the professional and personal level.
Teaching accounting is exciting and sharing that excitement with my students is an integral part of my classroom agenda. Excellent business careers are available to all students who are willing to apply themselves – and accounting, in my opinion, is the BEST! It is a solid foundation from which a bright future can be obtained.
Good accountant are needed in everywhere. We’re needed in private and public corporation, we’re needed in not-for-profits, and we’re needed in governmental accounting on all level. There are careers in financial accounting, tax accounting, managerial accounting, and cost accounting. These are excellent professions from which countless professional have ventured into job opportunities unavailable to other less sophisticated job applicants.
In closing, I welcome any student who wishes to have a better life, work hard, and make a difference in this world to my class. My accounting background and education has enabled me to participate in a career that brings me closer to the “movers and shakers” of the next generation. It is my true joy – beyond measure.
