Evelyn Oyuela-Kowalski, M.S., is an instructor for the Psychology Department at Mount Saint Mary’s University. She also serves as the Program Coordinator for Applied Psychology Weekend/Evening College. Prior to joining the faculty at MSMU, Evelyn served as the Director of the Student Success Center at MSMU and assisted traditional undergraduate students enrolled in the Associates of Arts program in completing their degrees. Evelyn also has over 15 years of experience working in social services, early childhood education, and working as a case manager in community mental health settings. Her research interests include firstgeneration college student development, mental health issues of undocumented college students, anxiety disorders resulted from being an undocumented minor, and violence against women of color.
