Gail Gresser, the Director of Campus Ministry for both the Chalon and Doheny campuses, has served at Mount Saint Mary’s for over 30 years. She received her Bachelors’ Degree from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, where she had the opportunity to design her own interdisciplinary major focusing on ethnicity, culture, and conflict. She received a Masters’ Degree in Psychological Anthropology from UCLA, with an emphasis on cross-cultural human development in motherhood and early infancy, and later received a Masters in Theological Studies from Loyola Marymount University, where her thesis reflected on the theology of the parents’ role in infant baptism. Over the years, Gail has served in parish and Archdiocesan ministries, primarily in the areas of Liturgy, Christian Initiation, and Social Justice. She is a long-time member of the Liturgy Committee for the annual Los Angeles Religious Education Congress, and a parishioner at St. Monica’s Church, Santa Monica.
