I am a psychologist who has provided mental health services in private, community, school, and faith-based settings. I have also worked as a high school teacher and counselor, and recently published a book, Restoration in the Valley: A Psychological Resource Manual for Clergy to assist clergy in assessing psychopathology in their congregants. I assist church leadership personnel in utilizing best-practices when working with parishioners experiencing mental health related challenges. Currently, I work with at-risk youth within LAUSD and I truly enjoy my work. I have been working at The Mount for six years, and I love it! I also believe in community, so I regularly lend my time to children and women’s organizations. I currently serve as a Commissioner on the Commission on the Status of Women for City of Pasadena. I find joy in serving, teaching, and helping others, and I love to watch people overcome barriers and accomplish their goals.
