Health, Wellness and
Teaching and Practicing Resilience
Saturday, February 15, 2020
8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Mount Saint Mary’s University, Los Angeles
Doheny Campus, downtown Los Angeles
10 Chester Place
Los Angeles, CA 90007
Presented by the Center for Cultural Fluency
How do we help youth and families handle the effects of stress and trauma and enact self-care practices for body, mind and spirit?
How can we care for ourselves as we strive to care for others?
This one-day conference will provide practitioners and educators with resources to nurture and re-energize themselves as they work to make positive change in the world.
Educators and practitioners from within and outside of the classroom are invited to share innovative lessons and tools for promoting health, wellness, and self-care.
We welcome workshop proposals addressing issues such as avoiding burnout, managing stress and trauma, promoting social-emotional health, maintaining fitness, healthy nutrition and sleep, and more.
