Internships represent a tremendous opportunity for Mount St. Mary’s University students to learn more about industries and professions they may wish to engage upon graduation.
Because an internship is often very similar to real-world employment, it offers on-the-job experience that is part of the Mount’s “experiential education” philosophy – where students go into the workplace to enhance their educational background. In addition, internships offer excellent opportunities to meet potential employers and establish one’s professional capabilities prior to commencing an actual job hunt.
Career Services can help students identify and apply for the internships that hold the most interest.
For more information and assistance in identifying and applying for an internship, please contact Career Services at 310.954.4410 (Chalon) or 213.477.2662 (Doheny).
We also encourage you to visit the Mount Career Network website powered by NACElink. This resource offers many internship possibilities.
