"The Empowerment Project"
A documentary screening followed by a conversation with filmmaker Sarah Moshman.

Sarah Moshman is an Emmy Award-winning documentary filmmaker. "The Empowerment Project: Ordinary Women Doing Extraordinary Things" is her first feature documentary. The film showcases strong female role models and aims to broaden the conversation around gender equality. After the screening, there will be a conversation and Q& with Moshman.

This event is part of a series of events leading up to the release of the 2018 Report on the Status of Women and Girls in California. This screening is presented by the Mounts' Center for the Advancement of Women and the University's Film, Media and Social Justice program.
