Status of Women and Girls in California

March 22, 2018

Mount Saint Mary's University releases an annual Report on the Status of Women and Girls in California, a groundbreaking, faculty-created report of the most current research measuring how California's females are faring in a wide variety of categories. This report is used regularly by policymakers, nonprofits leaders and committed citizens to help effect positive change in their communities.

Each year, the Mount shares new Report findings at a public release event to foster conversation and inspire action to address continuing gender inequities. The University's 2018 event will gather high-profile leaders of industry from across the state and country to explore how California's professional women are shaping the world's economy, defining the culture of their companies, and paving the way for the next generation of female leaders.

The Report on the Status of Women and Girls in California is produced annually by Mount Saint Mary's Center for the Advancement of Women. Learn more about the Center's work at www.msmu.edu/CAW.
