    Demonstrate competence in techniques, concepts and knowledge specific to Physical Therapy.

    1. Students will demonstrate the appropriate level of clinical competence for placement in curriculum

  • Demonstrate the ability to access, analyze, synthesize and evaluate information effectively

    1. Students will demonstrate the ability to access, analyze and integrate material from prior learning into current course content and clinical placements

  • Demonstrate research skills and methods through the ability to gather documents, investigate, analyze, interpret and evaluate information

    1. Students demonstrate the ability to access, understand and apply research knowledge as a routine part of clinical care and generate clinically relevant information throughout the curriculum with assignments of increasing complexity

  • Disseminate and communicate information effectively in oral and written form

    1. Students will demonstrate competence in oral and written communication throughout the curriculum with assignments of increasing complexity

  • Demonstrate knowledge of the implications of a diverse society to the profession and demonstrate the skills to address the moral and ethical challenges within the profession

    1. Students will demonstrate an understanding of how individual and cultural differences affect delivery of health care and respond with appropriate sensitivity in all aspects of patient care

    2. Students will identify and analyze ethical dilemmas in the U.S. health care system and specifically in physical therapy practice.
