Flora Yuen

Flora Yuen presented her MSN thesis project, “Pediatric Nurses’ Level of Preparedness in Code Blue Events,” at the Society of Pediatric Nurses 26th Annual Conference in Minneapolis.  Her project was completed under the guidance of Dr. Tori Canillas-Dufau.
“I want to thank each of you again for making it possible for me to attend the conference this year.  Dr. Sato, thank you for your support from the very beginning of my nursing career, way back to my advance medical surgical days when you helped me learn the basics of nursing.  Dr. Tori, thank you for your guidance in the thesis project process and making us practice presenting our proposals each week, it really helped my presentation because I know it like the back of hand by now!  Professor Yang, thank you for your flexibility to allow me the time to attend the conference.  Sandra and Alfa, thank you for your support and friendship and your flexibility in rearranging your schedules to accommodate the change in class days so that I can attend the conference.  It was a wonderful experience for me and I thank each one of you for helping to make it happen!” – Flora Yuen
