Brandi Rico’s Abstract Accepted at ANCC National Magnet Conference
Congratulations to Brandi Rico whose MSN thesis project abstract “An Analysis of Factors that Contribute to Falls in Select Out-patient Procedural Settings” has been selected for the 2015 ANCC National Magnet Conference® in Atlanta, GA. This conference attracts more than 7,000 nurses and nursing executives from major hospitals to celebrate Magnet Recognition. The focus of the ANCC National Magnet Conference is to share evidence-based practices. This is the official annual conference of the prestigious Magnet Recognition Program®, serving as both a celebration of accomplishment for newly designated Magnet® organizations and a showcase of best nursing practices for the Magnet community. (from http://magnetcon.org/ ). Brandi’s thesis project was also awarded 2nd place at Mount Saint Mary’s University Second Annual Graduate Nursing Research Poster Symposium in December 2014.
