MFA in Film & Television



Based in a Major Hollywood Studio

The two-year, 52-unit Master of Fine Arts in Film & Television Program at Mount Saint Mary’s University provides students with all of the essential skills to create and produce professional films and build a body of work that demonstrates their abilities in each aspect of the creative and technical process in a professional studio setting.

The centerpiece of the department’s curriculum is to encourage collaborative filmmaking, innovative thinking, and critical hands-on understanding of new technologies while using the latest equipment. Class sizes are small, with a student to faculty ratio of 18:1, to allow personalized one-on-one instruction and mentoring from leaders in the film and television industry.
