PsyD Scholarship Opportunities

Mount Saint Mary’s University is pleased to announce the availability of the following scholarship and financial aid opportunities: 

Graduate Merit Scholarships

Merit-based departmental scholarships are awarded to new students at time of admission.

  • The faculty admission committee automatically considers all applicants for a scholarship opportunity.
  • The amount of a scholarship varies depending on the merit and promise of a student’s application

Ahmanson Veteran Scholarship Initiative

Supports the young men and women returning from Iraq and Afghanistan.

Graduate Assistantships

Students will be eligible to apply for assistantship positions across the university to assist in paying for the program. Assistantships and their scope are determined by campus departments, intended as part-time employment which builds related experience and enriches the classroom experience.

Please note the PsyD program is designed to prepare students to become licensed as psychologists in the state of California. For students who wish to practice in a state other than California, you may or may not have additional requirements to complete prior to your licensing examination. Please contact the PsyD program at to discuss if you will need to satisfy additional requirements.
