The Online MBA Program at Mount Saint Mary’s University offers a world-class educational experience within a scalable, browser-based format, bringing the distinguished qualities of the Mount’s graduate business offerings to the Internet. The Online MBA program delivers all of the features of Weekend MBA program and maintains the spirit of the Mount’s founders, the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Carondelet and emphasizes the development of the whole person through an educational experience committed to service, civility and empathy.
Through a comprehensive set of rigorous courses over four semesters, students will develop new skills and refine their problem-solving, communication and leadership abilities within theme-based modules that lead to concentrations in Entrepreneurship, Organizational Leadership, and Project Management. Online MBA students will also complete the Culminating Project course, the hallmark of the Mount’s MBA program.
The Online MBA Program continues the Mount’s tradition of global education and immersion by offering an International Field Study course in China. The field study is led by expert business faculty over a nine-day period, and affords students exposure to trends in global business, trade and commerce, giving them a greater understanding of practices, culture, and opportunities of conducting business in China.
The Online MBA Program commences with a two and a half day residency* at Mount Saint Mary’s Doheny Campus, an idyllic academic setting adjacent to downtown Los Angeles, via a one-unit introductory course, providing students with an introduction to graduate business study, an overview of the Online MBA Program, an introduction to the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Carondelet, and networking opportunities with fellow students and faculty. Students return to campus at the start of the fourth semester for a second residency* to begin development of their Culminating Projects and to finalize preparation for their Concentration selections.
*Please Note: travel and room and board expenses for residencies are the responsibility of the student. Please contact us for more information.
