We host two annual events that bring together women from across Southern California to get informed, get inspired and take action.
For more information about our events, contact Heather Schraeder, Director of University and External Events, at firstname.lastname@example.org or 213.477.2761.
During Women’s History Month, we gather more than 1,000 high-profile leaders from corporate, nonprofit, political and educational fields to share insights from the latest Report on the Status of Women and Girls in California™. This half-day event is designed to foster conversation and inspire action in addressing continuing inequalities and gender gaps that shape the lives of women and girls in our state.
The event's VIP Luncheon provides space for guests to take a deeper dive into issues highlighted in the Report. Past co-hosts include First Partner of California Jennifer Siebel Newsom, Maria Shriver with Architects of Change, and the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media, among others.
The Women's Leadership Conference is a full-day event held in September for women of all ages to enhance and expand their leadership skills. Emerging and established leaders attend each year to gain actionable insights from pacesetters in their fields through sessions designed to educate, motivate and empower women to transform their personal lives and teams within their professional organizations and communities.
Our speakers are slected by an internal committee of faculty and staff. For speaking consideration, please complete the following form, and we will be in touch when and if there is an opportunity.
