We are committed to graduating healthy, resilient leaders.
That is why we are building the Wellness Pavilion - the first new construction on the Chalon campus in 30 years. The Pavilion will be a hub for the university’s wellness movement, health and wellness programming, and our innovative Peer Wellness program, which fosters peer-to-peer teaching and learning. It will provide an advanced training lab, dynamic sports and wellness opportunities, and collaborative spaces for our entire community.
Currently two-thirds of our first year students rate themselves as unhealthy. That number does not change upon graduation. We plan to reverse those statistics. As a women’s university in one of the most dynamic cities in the country, with one of the most diverse student populations in the nation, we will drive the agenda for health and wellness nationally.
Let’s get healthy together.
