Admission Exam

Mount Saint Mary’s University requires all candidates who have met the academic requirements for direct entry into the BSN program to take an entrance exam as a part of the admissions process. This exam is factored into the admission decision. Eligible candidates will be invited to Mount St. Mary’s to take this exam after submitting their application.

Waitlist Procedure

We do not have a waitlist that rolls over from start term to start term. We do select a waitlist from the completed applications for that specific term in case additional spaces become available for the specific term. If someone is put on the waitlist and no spaces become available for them, their application is withdrawn and would need to go through the reactivation and review process all over again in order to be considered for the next term. Formerly waitlisted students are not given priority consideration when their file goes through the review process.
