Accelerated BSN Program

If you hold a bachelor’s degree and are looking to transition to a career in nursing, our Accelerated Bachelor of Science (ABSN) in Nursing program offers a fast track program that can be completed in 12 months. Graduates of the Accelerated BSN program, which is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing and accredited by the Collegiate Commission on Nursing Education (CCNE), are eligible to take the NCLEX-RN licensure exam and will be eligible for Public Health Certification.

Associate Degree in Nursing - IMPORTANT UPDATE

Due to the increased demand from the healthcare industry for registered nurses with a Bachelor of Science (BSN) degree, our Nursing Department has made the decision to discontinue the ADN program at the Mount. We are no longer accepting applications for the ADN program. We encourage you to explore our BSN program. Please do not hesitate to contact us at nursingadmission@msmu.edu with any questions you have about our Nursing Department as well as our programs.

RN to BSN Program

The RN to BSN Program offers a flexible and affordable opportunity for busy nursing professionals. Students can complete the program in as little as three semesters on campus or online while remaining active in their jobs and families. The program is accredited by the Collegiate Commission on Nursing Education (CCNE) and all graduates will be eligible for Public Health Certification.

BSN Program

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program is designed for students to meet present and future needs in the health care system. Graduates of the BSN program, which is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing and accredited by the Collegiate Commission on Nursing Education (CCNE), are eligible to take the NCLEX-RN licensure exam and will be eligible for Public Health Certification.

Accreditation

The baccalaureate degree program in nursing/master's degree program in nursing and the post-graduate APRN certificate program at Mount Saint Mary's University are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (http://www.ccneaccreditation.org).
