WASC Senior College and University Commission

Mount St. Mary’s hosted our WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC) site visit on September 25-27, 2013. WASC Senior College and University Commission is a regional accrediting body that is responsible for the evaluation of the quality and effectiveness of colleges and universities offering the baccalaureate degree and above in California, Hawaii, Guam, and the Pacific Basin. Each institutional member of WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC) is required to have its accreditation reaffirmed at least every ten years. This is our year!

In preparation for the visit, the members of the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC) visiting team reviewed materials we submitted over the course of the last year. Please see these materials posted below.

The team is made up of faculty and administrators from institutions similar to the Mount and one staff member (our liaison) from WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC). Please click here to review the biographies of the visiting team . The team will be visiting both campuses and has requested meetings with specific groups as well as open meetings with faculty, staff and students. The open meetings are scheduled as follows:
