Undergraduate Visitor and Family Information
Doors to the venue will open at 1:30 PM. All guests are required to have a ticket.
*A guest is considered any person over 2 years old. Babies less than two years old will need to be seated on an adult's lap.

Parking is available in any of the structures adjacent to the Shrine. The cost to park is approximately $15 per car. More information can be found on the Shrine webpage.
Please account for traffic delays on Figueroa Street.
It is important to keep in mind that this is a special day for ALL involved in Commencement. Screaming and shouting for one graduate means that the family of another might not hear the name of their special person. It is advisable to select an area away from the venue's main entryways to meet your graduate following the ceremony, as 6,000 people will be exiting the venue at the same time.
Most of the venue will be open seating. No guest seats are assigned and no one will be allowed to hold seats. Please arrive as a group and stay in your seats. Guests may NOT sit in roped off areas. Please follow the directions of Mount Saint Mary's and venue staff when looking for a seat.
Guests are expected to dress and act appropriately and to remain for the entire ceremony.
Families may bring cameras and small hand-held camcorders into the venue; no professional, production type cameras may be used. Picture taking will only be allowed from the seats; no one may stand in an aisle to take pictures. There will be no camera area closer to the stage.
Not Allowed in the Venue
- Air horns or other noisemakers
- Strollers (Babies less than two years old who will be held on an adult's lap do not need a ticket)
- Large signs
- No smoking is allowed anywhere in the Venue
Persons with Disabilities
There is special seating for persons with disabilities and wheelchairs. This special seating is only for the person with disabilities and/or are in a wheelchair and one other family member who will be able to sit with them. Please email email@example.com with your specific need.
