Graduation Mass

For the Class of 2019

You are invited to a Graduation Mass on the afternoon of Sunday, May 5 (day before graduation)

2:30 p.m., Carondelet Center Chapel (just down the hill from the Chalon Campus)

Presiding - Msgr. Clem Connolly, Trustee

All graduates - receiving any degree from Mount Saint Mary's University - are welcome, whatever your religious tradition.

Graduates must arrive on the Chalon campus by 1pm. Past the guard house, you will be able to leave your car and it will be valet parked. A shuttle will bring you to your entrance to the Carondelet Center. There, your family and friends will be directed into the chapel, and you will be directed to a classroom with the other graduates.

What is Commencement Mass? The Mass is the gathering of the community to pray in thanksgiving to God, to sing, to listen to the scriptures, to share in the Eucharist, and to ask God's blessing upon our new graduates.

What time will Mass end? Mass will conclude around 4 p.m.

What should I wear for Mass? Please do not bring your cap; bring your gowns, cords, MSMU medals and hoods – whatever you will wear at Commencement, other than your cap.

Do I need to RSVP? Yes. Please RSVP here by Tuesday, April 30 so that we can reserve seats for you and your guests.
