Advanced Placement Exams

Students who earn scores of 4 or 5 in specific Advanced Placement Exam subjects may receive fulfillment of a MSMU General Education requirement in that area. Students who receive a 4 or 5 for an exam for which they have already fulfilled a MSMU General Education requirement will also receive three elective units. Students who earn a score of 3 receive three elective units.

Language

Spanish Language 4/5 8 units GS IV Modern Language requirement. GE 4 Modern Language requirement (SPA 1 & SPA 2)  Even though you have completed our language requirement, if you decide to continue your study of Spanish after you enroll at MSMU, you will be required to take a placement exam to determine your competency level. Increasing your Spanish Language literacy could be very helpful in your future career, considering today’s diverse society.

Calculus B/C 4/5 8 units Math 5A and Math 5B and fulfils the GS QL2 requirement. Math 5A and Math 5B and fulfills  GE 3A Math Reasoning requirement
