Nestled into a private, verdant park-like setting just south of Downtown Los Angeles, the Doheny Campus opened in 1962 and comprises a number of famed mansions and structures centered on Chester Place, one of the most famous West Adams Historic District addresses. Central to the campus is the Doheny Mansion, a circa-1900 landmark that has appeared in numerous motion pictures and television series throughout the years. Today, the Doheny Mansion is used for events, filming and administration offices.
Housing options in and around the Doheny Campus are plentiful for groups wanting to remain on campus during their events. Plus, the campus is centrally located to all that downtown Los Angeles has to offer, including Staples Center, LA Live, the Historic Core, Disney Music Hall, Olvera Street, Union Station (connected by the Expo Line, only a few blocks away), Little Tokyo, Koreatown, and the Theater, Jewelry, Fashion, Flower and Financial Districts.
