The CSJ Institute seeks to promote research efforts that highlight the achievements of our sister-scholars as well as advance our commitment to issues of social justice.
This year the CSJ Institute awarded three research grants to Mount faculty. Their results will be showcased at the Academic Convocation in spring 2018. The projects are:
“Exploration of the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Carondelet (CSJs) mission and history in providing holistic care for women affected by sexual violence.” Abigail Rea, Nursing
"Moving Mountains the CSJ Way – Restorative Justice models in business administration." David Burkitt, Business Administration
"The Influence of One’s Pursuit of Social Justice on the Aging Process: An Exploration of the
Sisters of St. Joseph of Cardondelet." Michelle Melendres, Sociology
