Welcome to the Chalon Campus of Mount Saint Mary’s University in Los Angeles
High above the energetic thoroughfares of Los Angeles, in the Santa Monica Mountains, is the jewel of Mount Saint Mary’s University, our historic Chalon Campus.
Chalon opened by 1930, less than five years after the school's founding by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet at our original location southwest of downtown Los Angeles. Featuring striking Spanish Colonial architecture, Mount students enjoy an academic environment unparalleled in Southern California for its serenity and beauty.
The gorgeous Chalon Campus has grown to become home to all of the Mount's traditional baccalaureate degree programs, including 24 bachelor of arts majors and six bachelor of science majors. The majority of Mount Saint Mary’s University students attend the Chalon Campus as their primary educational environment.
Student housing options are plentiful for Chalon Campus students, including on- and off-campus options that appeal to the complete range of student life. And with breathtaking views of the City of Los Angeles and the Santa Monica Bay, plus shopping and Westside attractions, the Mount's Chalon Campus is an academic environment you'll remember for a lifetime.
