Poet Marvin Bell to Visit College
Oct. 5, 2005 -- One of America's great living poets, Marvin Bell, will be visiting the College's Chalon Campus at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18 in the Jose Drudis-Biada Art Gallery, 12001 Chalon Road, Los Angeles 90049. Following a reading from his work, Bell will take questions from the audience.
Bell is the Poet Laureate of the state of Iowa, and taught at the esteemed Iowa Writers' Workshop for three decades. He has produced more than 15 books of poetry, and has won numerous awards.
