Mount Saint Mary’s University introduces six new online undergraduate degree and certificate programs
LOS ANGELES, April 20, 2016 – Mount Saint Mary’s University has expanded its roster of online offerings with the addition of six new undergraduate degree and certificate programs in business administration, computer science, criminology, entrepreneurship and gerontology.
The online programs are open to women and men in 27 states and internationally, and are part of the University’s broader mission to provide a superior education while helping build leadership skills and a commitment to community service.
“Our goal is to create world-class online degree programs that provide students the opportunity to become innovators and leaders, and gain real-world skills in their areas of concentration, based within a traditional Mount Saint Mary’s liberal arts education,” said Lisa Dawley, executive director for MSMU Online. “Through cutting-edge curriculum and technology, we’re able to support students who want to take advantage of our programs but want or need greater access and flexibility to pursue their educational goals.”
New online bachelor’s degree programs:
Business administration in management and accounting – The two degree programs can each be completed in four years, and do not require any in-classroom sessions. While individual courses in management and accounting have been offered online as part of the University’s Weekend/Evening College, these new programs are the first fully online bachelor’s degrees in those concentrations to be offered at Mount Saint Mary’s.
