The Center helps to maintain and expand the University’s network of partnerships with institutions and organizations in other countries. These relationships typically provide for the possibility of faculty and student exchange, short-term visits, dual degree programs, and smooth transition from one program to another at our respective institutions.

If you’re faculty and looking to join MSMU as an international Visiting Scholar, please email Dr. Lia Roberts for more information and see the International Visiting Scholar Policy .

If you have any inquiries regarding domestic student exchange, short-term student visits, dual degree programs, or international student exchange, please contact Jacqueline Ha-Maki at jhamaki@msmu.edu for more information.

Summer Intern Abroad Program– Pilot Summer 2021!

Gain credit for summer internships through the CGI's Summer Intern Abroad Program

Here at MSMU, we believe that in order to succeed in today’s world our students should be given the opportunity to practice the skills necessary for living and working in a larger global community.

Cultural fluency and appreciation of communities outside of the US are both necessary if we want to understand a dynamic global environment. In order to deepen these skills, the CGI is supporting international project-based and/or research summer internships. These internships will help you build competitive resumes, experience new cultures, and build a global network to support your career.
